Ramasela Ganda – Chief Executive for Avis Budget Rent-a Car

With effect of 01 May 2020 Barloworld Automotive & Logistics Division has appointed Ramasela Ganda to the position of Chief Executive: Avis Budget Rent-a-Car.

Ramasela is a Chartered Accountant (SA) with 22 years of experience in the field of finance and is the outgoing Executive Head for Business Services of Barloworld Equipment. She joined Barloworld in 2017 as the Chief Financial Officer of Barloworld Equipment’s Rental and Used unit.

An accomplished and much-admired leader, Ramasela brings extensive experience to the role. She holds a B.Com (Hons. & CTA) from the University of Pretoria and is a recipient of several awards over the span of her career. Amongst these are Public Sector CFO of the year 2017 awarded by CFO SA; Public Sector CFO of the year 2016 awarded by African Women Chartered Accountants; Finalists for Business Woman of the Year 2016 and CFO of the year 2016 awarded by The Association Black Securities and Investment Professionals (ABSIP).
